here are some camera phone paps from the weekend. This first one is last night's sunset seen from Stanage pole. Went for a walk to get out of the house and attempt to blow away the cobwebs. Absolutely boiling, sun set at about 2000 but it was totally still. Not a breath of wind and so it was warm. I soloed a Severe by the count area in my trainers. Sweaty grit and lack of faith in friction = terrifying epic. Fun though.
The obligatory pier shot in 'dudno. Look at the sky. It was like this from when we arrived until we left, and probably still is now. Love the sunshine :
The mighty Parisella's cafe. They dont sell lighters. I remember on my first visit to the orme getting tea in here before meeting Stuart Cameron in the cave. I couldnt do anything or hang any holds. I remember getting dragged up a 6B downstairs and being petrified. Circa 1995 something like that. In fact, now I say that, I remember my sequence on the 6b requiring locking a mono at waist height and that I didnt do it. Helen's dad onsighted it and there was no mono. God knows what I was doing!
Dylog's rape/murder van. Actually very comfortable. This is it parked outside Chez Doylo. Whose housing estate is quite nice. Again, look at the sky... wall to wall sunshine. Doesnt the world look a better place when the sun is out.
Which is why I hate wasting any time moping around with a cold. Its so frustrating. Might go for another quest/walk tonight.
